The Labotronic DGT has many features that add to its exclusive performance:

  • An electric, refrigeration and soundproofing system compliant to international standards.
  • A refrigeration system suitable for tropical climates.
  • The possibility of adding mixtures at +85°C.
  • A high-strength steel frame with rustproofing and satin-finish stainless steel blades.

PERFORMANCE

Customised H.O.D. (Hard-o-tronic) system (patented): The final hard consistency of the ice cream can always be changed, even during mixing, depending on your personal needs; the H.O.D. system will therefore run automatically with the new settings chosen.

This is an electronic “microprocessor” system, which analyses the amount and type of mixture being mixed in real time, appropriately modulating the cold setting.

With this constant control of the mixing and consistency settings, you automatically get the best ice cream possible, with any type and amount of ingredients, and you don’t have to do anything else.

CONVENIENCE

  • The low-voltage, watertight control panel is in an “ergonomic” untiring position, which lets you work simply and safely in front of the machine standing upright.
  • It has a membrane keypad and by pressing just one button, the microprocessor independently and reliably controls, operates and monitors the production process. The display on the monitor shows the calibrated values, which can be programmed with the two special buttons, while the LED bar monitors all the processing phases in real time.

SAVING

HARD-O-DYNAMIC (H.O.D.) PATENTED: this new Carpigiani-patented process saves a considerable amount of energy, while performing the following functions:

  • it starts the mixing, while constantly checking the formation of the ice cream’s structure;
  • it systematically analyses the machine’s electrical parameters and heat exchanges; and it assesses the time intervals between the mixture’s change of state from liquid to solid, adapting the performance of the refrigeration system while the ice cream is being made.

It does all this while dynamically modulating the addition of cold gas depending on the amount of mixture added, i.e. a minimum, average or maximum cylinder load, as well as on the type of mixture used, whether it is a rich creamy ice cream or a delicate fruit sorbet, and the chosen quality of the ice cream.

Thanks to the H.O.D. system, the Labotronic RTX adapts brilliantly to gelato makers’ needs and their special, personal mixtures, and to the different production requirements of high and low season.

SAFETY – HYGIENE

  • A stainless steel door with opening device, for loading and unloading in accordance with accident prevention standards.
  • A hinge so the door is easy to disassemble.
  • An eccentric cam for fast disassembly and opening of the door.
  • A large height-adjustable shelf positioned behind the unloading door, so the ice cream flows directly into the centre of the tub, where it can be easily scooped and given out. A rubber supporting surface.
  • A removable shower head so all the parts in contact with the ice cream can be conveniently washed. The rinse water connection is separate from the one that feeds the condenser, so the kitchen’s hot water supply can be connected directly to the machine, thereby making it quicker and easier to clean.
